A huge amount of important work is done by independent people and specialist teams. But too often, those people are treated like transactions. They are hard to find, hard to

re-engage, poorly supported, and far too dependent on who happens to know them.

Organisations feel the other side of the same problem. They need brilliant external capability, but they do not have a good way to build, maintain and mobilise the trusted networks around them.

StudioSixty4 is led by Om and Ben. We have known each other for 10 years and spent half that time working together.

Between us, we have seen the same problem, and been a part of it, from several angles.

Om was Chief of Staff inside a 3,500-person agency, responsible for talent and culture across a large creative and delivery organisation. Alongside that, he built and ran a talent on-demand service, helping client organisations get the people they needed when they needed them. As if that was not enough, he also built an award-winning creative recruitment business from his bedroom.

Ben ran an employee experience practice focused on the systems, processes and experiences that shape how people work. Much of that work was about the future of work before it had fully arrived: how organisations should change, how teams should operate, and how better systems can create better working lives.
